When someone fills out a wait list form, it does not create a deal. Instead, it changes the contact property "Awaiting Wait List Sync" to true. That triggers an hourly check to see if the appointment has changed to a different appointment type (1st time appt, etc). When it does, it triggers the form submission like normal.
